Chief Systems
Engineer for Air Combat Command and Foreign Military Sales Division. Duties
included Supervision of 16 Engineers and Configuration Management personnel;
Training of junior engineers (1/2 of engineering
staff); Technical management of twelve aircrew and maintenance trainer
programs;
Definition of standards between programs; Technical lead of new business
Integrated
Product Team .
Technical work included modeling and simulation of all aircraft systems,
weapons systems and modeling/standardization of threat environments.
Previously, the program office engineering interface to the AF Human Resources
Laboratory on the trainer Interim Government Solution program. These trainer
programs include Joint Strike
Fighter , F-15 (C/E/Saudi), F-16 (Block 30/40/50), A-10 source
selection support, B-1, B-2, and Predator. Technical lead for incorporation
of all ASC/YWP trainers into Distributed Mission Operations.

Part of 12 person
team the re-competed the entire F-15E training program to include aircrew and
maintenance training. This include Weapon System Trainers, Integrated
Avionics Trainers and all maintenance trainers.

 | Lead Engineer from concept and requirements
definition, through source selection, development and completion of fielding
first two trainer sites. Training concept revolutionized training and
acquisition by providing training services rather than training. Won John
Welch Jr. Award for Acquisition Excellence for first Distributed Mission
Trainer. Worked with Subject Matter Experts from Air Combat Command to define
the pilot Training Task List, which was included in contract, and verified
that contractor provided required training. Changed trainer acquisition
implementation from one of engineering insight to oversight.

F-16 Foreign Military Sales.

Bachelor and Master of Science in Aerospace
Engineering, Iowa State University. Extensive graduate work in computer
engineering, Air Force Institute of Technology.

Meritorious Service Award.; the John J. Welch,
Jr. Award, with the Distributed Mission Training
Integrated Product Team and Major General Frederick J.
Dau Award, for the Product Group Management Team of
the Year.
